Welcome to Make A Transition

In July 2000, after more than 20 years as a champion of diversity recruiting and program development in higher education, “MakeATransition” consulting services was launched, specializing in college relations, diversity recruitment (for IT, education, healthcare, and bio-pharmaceutical organizations), and career coaching. Clients have included HealthCareer Connection, Glaxo Smith-Kline, Henry Schein, Resumax, Astellas, Cingular Wireless, Novo Nordisk, and the Xavier University School of Medicine in Aruba. I have a personal passion for helping students of color achieve success in their personal and career goals and have close working relationships with HBCUs.

My services are focused on:

1. Talent Search: Assisting organizations in reducing their college recruitment costs by applying best practices and by strategically identifying the "best fit" colleges and universities for their organizational needs, providing greater access to the top-tier talent of college graduates.

2. Workforce Development: Applying both unique and fundamental hiring strategies to provide an infusion of diverse and empowered organizational talent.

In addition, I provide admissions counseling and coaching to those students and individuals interested in attending law, medical, dental, and MBA school.
